About Us
Adam Geddes, fishing guide and owner of Adam’s Northwest Fishing Adventures, has 25 years of fishing experience in the PNW, and has been dedicated to guiding since 2015. Adam has extensive experience in fishing at multiple locations around the Pacific Northwest, including Drano Lake, lower, mid, and upper Columbia River, and the Snake River, as well as, having spent multiple summers guiding in Southwest Alaska.
Adam enjoys teaching, helping people experience their big catch, and watching people enjoy the outdoors when they otherwise might not be able to. He strives to be the professional guide and angler needed, while also making sure each client has a great day and lots of fun out on the water.
Adam’s favorite fish to fish for is Sockeye because they are one of the hardest fighting pound for pound and the fishing is very action-packed! In Adam’s spare time he also enjoys golfing, fishing, and being with his family.
Adam is happily married to his wife, McKenzie, who currently works full-time in the medical field, and also runs a small business in the Tri-Cities called Without Wilderness. Together they have two kids, Jane and Dean. Jane is a little firecracker loves to be on the water in her daddy’s boat, she has a huge personality and keeps mom and dad on their toes! Dean is a very happy little guy that will be spending much of his time fishing with dad in the coming years. Adam is blessed to have such a supportive family that also loves to be out fishing as much as he does.
Cole Risley, The first captain and guide to join our team here at Adam’s Northwest Fishing Adventures, Cole has his full lifetime of experience in many fisheries around the entire Pacific Northwest. From the mouth of the Columbia river at buoy-10 all the way to the Brewster pool on the upper columbia he has spent years learning, and Developing his skills to become a master of these waters.
Cole enjoys showing everyone in his life a great time, if its a family bbq, a friend get together, or he’s taking anyone fishing, on and off the water he always will accomplish that goal! He is a great host that makes sure everyone is well taken care of!
He is the product of a young man who grew up with great mentors in fishing, and spent much of his life growing up on the waters of the Pacific Northwest. Who has now gone above and beyond to take his skill in fishing to the next level! He knows the ways of the fish in the pacific Northwest and will show you how to have a great day on the water!
Cole is also happily married to his wife, Meaghan. Together they had their first son Westyn in the summer of 2022, and although he’s just a baby now, he will surely be spending his summers on the river deck handing for dad in no time!
